EXQUISITELY ADHERENT TO THE ORIGINAL DESIGNS.
The 1912 Sabre is the result of obsessive research, 3d scanning and prototype reconstruction, and a dash of cursing over the smithy for over a year, to bring you a weapon that feels like it came from the 20th century—but performs like it’s 2025.
We stayed extremely adherent to original findings, matching a Radaelli curved blade we personally measured with a Pecoraro winged hilt we acquired, and following closely the specifications from the 19th and 20th century sabre treatises. Our goal was to deliver a training tool that truly resembles the historical sabres used in early 1900s Italian salles. Then we added just enough Malleus spice to make it a joy to train with.

Obtaining the perfect shape wasn’t easy. At all. But we did it—respecting the measurements from the original acquisition, and achieving a wide, balanced profile that protects without overloading.

The guard is extremely light yet durable, with a comfortable and protective shape. Its sides gently curve outward to better deflect blows, and it also features two small wings along the arch that connects to the grip like the original one.

Moreover, thanks to the privilege to visit and document several originals from the Museo della Scherma [The Fencing Museum] in Busto Arsizio in Italy, we’ve recreated the lobed grip seen in select historical sabres, sculpted for comfort and control.

The 1912 Sabre is fully dismountable thanks to the Malleus Martialis Modular Sword System™, making transportation, customization and maintenance easier than ever. The design can be then expanded, with lots of options planned in the future.
A blade that moves like it should
Available in two lengths, 84 and 89 cm, the mounted blade is 20mm wide, based on a Radaelli-style salle sabre, with an elegant curvature and flexibility that pays tribute to the legacy of Italian fencing.
The best part?
It doesn’t exceed 750g.
Despite its full-length structure and robust profile, it remains agile, balanced and—yes—surprisingly light in hand.
