De profundis
Stare into the abyss long enough, the abyss stares back
– F. Nietzsche
Cuore dell’Oceano Military Rapier was inspired by the inv. A535 preserved in the Wallace Collection. The blue stingray skin and the exquisite finishing give it a powerful effect, second only to its blade presence. This is not a sword for everyone, but the scholars of Vincenzo Saviolo’s teachings could find in it the perfect high end companion. Cuore dell’Oceano Military Rapier can pair with a beautiful parrying dagger.
Sincere thanks to the Wallace Collection and the Wallace Collection Picture Library Staff for supporting this project.
